Prime minister Imran khan announced on Monday that the government plans to spend Rs.100 billion annually for development of the tribal district.
In his tweet he said “living up to our commitment. A 3-week consultative process on 10 years development plan for former FATA is being initiated, starting from Bajaur”.
He further added “our people in the tribunal areas will see unprecedented development as government plans to spend over Rs100 billion annually for 10 years in tribal districts”
Last week PM Imran khan visited Mohmand and Bajaur where he announced to launch Sehat Insaf Card scheme in the tribal districts. Every family here will have Rs 720,000 per year at the disposal for medical treatment.
He said that “legal framework in the tribal areas is of crucial importance and projects will be kept free from corruption”.
