Pakistan Head Coach and Chief Selector, Misbah-ul-Haq has backed his young fast bowlers to rattle the Australian batsmen on what is going to be a tough tour for the Green Shirts.

The 45-year-old believes that Naseem Shah will get plenty of pace and bounce on Australian wickets and that they are looking forward to seeing him bowl in such conditions.

Everyone is excited to get him in the team also and see how he bowls in Australia.

Misbah further praised the rookie pacer, saying that if he pitches the ball at the right length, at his pace, it will be a deadly combination.

It will help that he can bowl in good areas. He can bowl really well with the new and old ball. He is doing that in first-class already. We are looking forward to him putting the ball in the right areas at that pace, it could be a surprise packet.

The 16-year-old, who promises to make an “impression with pace and swing”, will be the 9th youngest player to play a Test if he gets a debut match in Australia.
