Pakistan trying to improve economic ties with different countries: Asad Umar


Finance Minister Asad Umar officially said Pakistan is opening up to the world with improved security situation in the country.

Addressing the graduation ceremony of 27th advanced diplomatic course organized by foreign service academy for foreign diplomats on Friday in Islamabad.

Referring to the geo strategic location of Pakistan the Asad Umar said Pakistan is the pivot of the silk road. We are in process to strengthen the economic corridor project China-Pakistan and make our relation good with Beijing.  

He further added more that “Pakistan is a multi-cultural society and we want to make it accessible to the rest of the world.”

He said, Pakistan and turkey are also on the path of developing different economic strategies framework.

Asad Umar said on Afghanistan Pakistan’s efforts for the afghan peace process are now widely being appreciated.

He further said that Pakistan will continue to play its role to make the dialogue process successful.
