ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News – fourth Sep, 2018 ) :The Higher Education Commission (HEC) will make academic joint exertion with Sri Lanka through Pak-Sri Lanka Higher Education Cooperation Program.
Chief Higher Education Commission, Dr. Tariq Banuri communicated this in the midst of a social event with Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Sri Lanka, Maj. Gen. (R) Shahid Hashmat, an official articulation said here Tuesday.
Mr. Hashmat conveyed his strong obligation to expect dynamic part in executing the Pak-Sri Lanka Higher Education Cooperation Program. He stated that the program will also fortify the complementary relations and will upgrade people to-people contact.
Dr. Banuri said that the HEC agrees high noteworthiness to worldwide joint endeavors, including that the Pak-Sri Lanka Higher Education Cooperation Program is one of the instances of its vow to progression of cutting edge training in the country.
Under the program, the HEC will extend informational help to Sri Lankan understudies and staff. The endeavor fuses 1000 awards for Sri Lankan understudies, staff exchange exercises, planning of Sri Lankan government laborers, holding of Pakistan Higher Education Expo in Sri Lanka, and establishment of a Department of Language and Culture at University of Colombo.
It was agreed in the social event that the assignment will be executed from Fall 2019, while a substantial and clear authenticity based structure will be set up for the assurance of understudies and work force.
