The national government has chosen to raise Rs 3, 75 paise in power costs. As per media reports, the national government had suggested raising 82 rupees at power costs, yet the Finance Ministry declined to acknowledge this proposal and chose to give alleviation to the general population. Sources said that now the power costs won’t raise up to Rs 82 for each rupee, however people in general may be given lost Rs 3 to 75 rupees. An official conclusion to expand control costs will be done in the ECC meeting managed by Finance Minister Asad Umar. Sources say that the present increment in power costs will get Rs 400 billion every month by government purchasers.
