We all love playing games in our spare time (and even in classes, offices and other places where we shouldn’t). It’s a good time pass, isn’t it? However, playing games on duty will no longer work for traffic wardens.
Traffic wardens in Rawalpindi are no longer allowed to play games on their mobiles while on duty after the matter was brought before the Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO), Mohammad Faisal Rana.
Faisal Rana has directed the Chief Traffic Officer to prepare a report while ensuring that wardens do not have games installed on their phones while on duty.
Station house officers, sub-divisional police officers and superintendents of police have also been directed to submit reports on the implementation of CPO’s directives which were issued following his meeting with a number of parliamentarians on Sunday.
The CPO has also promised surprise visits to ensure that the wardens are performing their duties diligently.
He further reiterated that firing on weddings is banned and the police officers found guilty of negligence as well as the organizers of the events will be taken action against.
